KraftClassBook a demo

KraftClass is built for Cambridge schools, teachers, academic teams, and learners. We understand that schools need clear, responsible handling of personal data, student work, assessment information, and AI-assisted learning tools.

This Privacy Policy explains how KraftClass collects, uses, protects, and shares information when you visit our website, request a demo, contact us, or use KraftClass as part of a school pilot or school account.

KraftClass is powered by NeuraGeek. For privacy questions, contact us at hello@kraftclass.com.

1. Our privacy approach

KraftClass is designed around four simple principles:

  • School trust comes first.
  • Teachers stay in control of academic decisions.
  • Student and school data is handled responsibly.
  • Personal data is not sold.

We use information only to provide KraftClass, respond to schools, support users, improve the platform, maintain security, and deliver relevant school-facing communications.

We do not sell personal data.

2. Information we collect

We may collect information in the following ways.

Information you provide to us

When you request a demo, contact us, join a pilot, or use KraftClass, we may collect:

  • name;
  • work email address;
  • school name;
  • country or region;
  • role or job title;
  • Cambridge level, subject, department, or academic interests;
  • messages, enquiries, or feedback you send to us;
  • demo, pilot, or onboarding information.

School and learning information

If a school uses KraftClass as part of a demo, pilot, or school account, we may process information connected to teaching, learning, assessment, and class workflows. This may include:

  • teacher-created prompts, questions, quizzes, or mock papers;
  • uploaded teaching materials or assessment content;
  • student names, IDs, or class identifiers, where provided by the school;
  • student responses, submitted work, marks, feedback, and progress information;
  • class-level performance trends;
  • topic-level strengths, weaknesses, and learning patterns;
  • reports generated for teachers, departments, or academic teams.

The exact data processed may depend on the features a school chooses to use.

Technical and website information

When you visit our website or use KraftClass, we may collect limited technical information, such as:

  • IP address;
  • browser type;
  • device type;
  • pages viewed;
  • referring pages;
  • date and time of access;
  • general usage and performance information;
  • security logs.

This helps us operate the website, understand usage, improve reliability, and protect the platform.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • respond to demo requests and school enquiries;
  • arrange school demos, pilots, onboarding, and support;
  • provide access to KraftClass features;
  • generate Cambridge-aligned questions, quizzes, mock papers, feedback, reports, and learning insights;
  • help teachers identify student and class-level weaknesses;
  • support teacher review of student work and assessment outputs;
  • save preferences, settings, and school workflows;
  • improve product quality, accuracy, reliability, and user experience;
  • maintain platform security and prevent misuse;
  • communicate important service updates;
  • send relevant product or school-demo information, where appropriate;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, safety, or operational requirements.

We do not use personal data for purposes that are unrelated to KraftClass without a valid reason.

4. AI-assisted features

KraftClass uses AI to support Cambridge assessment and teaching workflows. This may include generating questions, mock papers, quizzes, draft feedback, marking support, learning reports, and weakness insights.

AI output is designed to support teachers and school teams. It is not intended to replace teacher judgement.

Where KraftClass generates marks, feedback, recommendations, or reports, these outputs should be reviewed by teachers or authorised school staff before being used for formal academic decisions.

Schools remain responsible for how AI-assisted outputs are reviewed, approved, and used within their academic processes.

5. School-managed use and student data

Where KraftClass is used by a school, the school is normally responsible for deciding which students, teachers, classes, subjects, and assessment workflows are used on the platform.

KraftClass processes school-managed data to provide the requested features and support the school's use of the platform.

Schools are responsible for ensuring that appropriate notices, permissions, and safeguards are in place for teachers, students, parents, or guardians where required by their own policies or applicable laws.

Teachers, students, or parents with questions about school-managed data should usually contact the school first. Schools may also contact KraftClass directly at hello@kraftclass.com for support with data access, correction, deletion, or account-related requests.

6. Children and learners

KraftClass is designed for use in educational settings and may involve learner information when a school chooses to use those features.

Our public website and demo request forms are intended for schools, teachers, academic leaders, and other adults. They are not directed at children.

Where students use KraftClass through a school, the school is responsible for managing access and ensuring that the use of KraftClass is appropriate for the age, curriculum, and legal requirements of its learners.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the public website for general marketing purposes.

7. Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, understand how visitors use it, improve performance, and protect the site.

Cookies may help us remember basic preferences, measure page visits, understand which pages are useful, and improve the demo request experience.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the website may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

8. How we share information

We do not sell personal data.

We may share information only where necessary, such as with:

  • trusted service providers that help us operate KraftClass;
  • hosting, storage, authentication, email, analytics, support, security, payment, or AI infrastructure providers;
  • professional advisers where needed for legal, accounting, compliance, or business purposes;
  • authorities or other parties where required by law, regulation, legal process, safety, or security needs;
  • a successor organisation if KraftClass is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or business transfer.

Service providers are only permitted to process information for the services they provide to KraftClass.

9. International processing

KraftClass works with schools internationally, including schools in the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and other regions.

Because we use technology providers to operate the platform, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where a school or user is located.

Where required, we aim to use appropriate safeguards for international processing and cross-border data handling. Schools with specific data-location or procurement requirements can contact us before starting a pilot or school account.

10. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures may include access controls, limited staff access, secure systems, monitoring, account protection, and operational safeguards.

No online platform can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect school, teacher, and learner information responsibly.

If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal data, we will take appropriate steps based on the nature of the incident, the information involved, and applicable requirements.

11. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Demo and enquiry information may be kept for as long as needed to respond, follow up, manage school relationships, and maintain business records.

School account and pilot data may be kept for the duration of the school's use of KraftClass and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless deletion is requested or a different period is agreed with the school.

Some information may be kept longer where required for legal, security, backup, accounting, dispute-resolution, or operational reasons.

12. Your rights and requests

Depending on your location and the nature of your relationship with KraftClass, you may have rights to:

  • request access to personal information;
  • request correction or updating of information;
  • request deletion of information;
  • object to certain processing;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • ask questions about how information is used.

To make a privacy request, contact hello@kraftclass.com.

If your information is managed through a school account, we may ask you to contact the school first or we may coordinate with the school before responding.

13. Marketing and school communications

If you request a demo, contact us, or engage with KraftClass, we may use your work contact details to respond and send relevant information about KraftClass, including demo follow-ups, pilot information, product updates, or school-facing resources.

You can ask us to stop sending marketing or follow-up communications at any time by contacting hello@kraftclass.com.

We will still be able to send necessary service, security, legal, or account-related messages where appropriate.

14. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as KraftClass develops, as our product changes, or as legal and school requirements evolve.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
